At PEARL DRIVE CAR RENTAL, every journey we take with our clients is more than just transportation — it’s about reliability, comfort, and creating a smooth experience from start to finish. One of our most memorable assignments was a 4-day field trip across Western Uganda with a team from MTN Uganda, led by Mr. John Paul and Madam Frola Kayeru (HR – Simba Telecom).
From the very beginning, this trip was well-coordinated and full of purpose, covering multiple service centers across different regions while ensuring the team traveled comfortably and efficiently.
Day 1: Journey from Kampala to Kabale

The trip kicked off early from Kampala, with the team setting off towards the beautiful southwestern region of Uganda. The journey was long but well-paced, with strategic stopovers to ensure comfort and refreshment.
The first stop was at Kyazanga Service Center, where the team had a short break before continuing the journey. The next stopover was at Kinoni Service Center, a popular rest point along the highway known for its relaxing environment.
After these stopovers, the team continued their journey through the scenic landscapes of western Uganda, finally arriving in Kabale. The drive was smooth, and the clients appreciated the comfort and professionalism provided throughout the day.
Day 2: Field Operations Across Kabale, Ntungamo & Isingiro
The second day was fully dedicated to fieldwork and visits to various service centers. The team began their day in Kabale, where they engaged with the local MTN service center.
From Kabale, the journey continued to Ntungamo, followed by a visit to Kabuyanda. Each stop involved inspections, meetings, and operational assessments, all handled efficiently thanks to proper time management and smooth transportation.
One of the most impactful visits of the day was to Nakivale Refugee Settlement. This location highlighted the importance of connectivity and service delivery even in remote and humanitarian settings. The team was able to observe firsthand how telecom services play a crucial role in such communities.
The day concluded with a final stop at Isingiro service center before heading to Mbarara for the night.
Accommodation was arranged at the beautiful Acacia Villa Hotel, where the team rested comfortably after a long and productive day. The hotel provided a calm and relaxing environment, perfect for recharging.

Day 3: Exploring Bushenyi Region and Crater Lakes
Day three combined both work and exploration. The team started their day heading towards Rubindi, followed by visits to Ishaka and Bushenyi.
After completing their service center visits in these areas, the journey took a more scenic turn. The team proceeded towards the region near Queen Elizabeth National Park, where they visited the famous twin crater lakes — often referred to as the male and female crater lakes.
This moment offered the clients a refreshing break from the busy schedule, allowing them to enjoy Uganda’s natural beauty. The breathtaking views, calm environment, and unique landscape made it one of the highlights of the trip.
Later in the evening, the team continued to Ibanda, where they spent the night. Once again, the journey was smooth, and the clients remained comfortable and satisfied.
Day 4: Final Visits and Return to Kampala
On the final day, the team began with a visit to Kazo service center. After completing their work, they began the journey back to Kampala.
The return route passed through Rushere, offering yet another glimpse of Uganda’s countryside. The drive back was relaxed, giving the team time to reflect on the successful trip.
They finally arrived back in Kampala, marking the end of a well-executed and productive 4-day field assignment.
Client Experience & Feedback
What made this trip truly special was the relationship built with the clients. Mr. John Paul and Madam Frola Kayeru were not only professional but also incredibly kind and considerate.
They ensured that the driver was well taken care of throughout the journey, showing appreciation and respect — something we highly value at Pearl Drive Car Rental. Their positive attitude and cooperation made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
By the end of the trip, the clients were very happy and satisfied with the service provided. From punctuality and safe driving to comfort and flexibility, every detail was handled with care.
